Climbing Mountains

While the rest of you were still asleep on Wednesday, the 6am people were climbing mountains with Deb – literally! This amazing, high intensity training session had us working hard and torching the calories but it still didn’t stop us making jokes and laughing together. Deb cheerfully put us through some intensive moves, alternating between periods of maximum effort and short recovery – all quite within our capabilities.
Just because you feel unfit, are new to fitness or starting over after an injury, doesn’t mean that high-intensity interval training isn’t for you. The key to success in these fast-paced workouts lies in doing the right moves, at your own pace, listening to your body, modifying as needed and completing each movement to the best of your ability – all done under the watchful eye of one of our wonderful Trainers.

You can do it too!  Join us at 6am or 8am at Troy Park – but be warned – our Fitness Trainers like to be creative and no two training sessions are ever the same.
Of course, you don’t have to do the strength exercises, you can still go walking, jogging or running – it is all about choices!  Your first choice will be to set the alarm for an early start in the morning.
