While some were hiking up that mountain, the rest on the group were circumnavigating beautiful Dove  Lake and then onwards past Lake Lilla and down the Wombat Pool trail.  Conditions were drizzly and cold but it did not dampen the enthusiasm of the group who were always on the lookout for the elusive wombats.  About 13kms completed that day!
