2021 Elizabeth Quay

2021 Twilight Walk

What a beautiful evening for a Twilight Walk. The weather was almost perfect, although it was just a little bit windy at the start.

The South Perth foreshore was unbelievably busy and it was great to see so many people out enjoying the warm night. The car park was so full, that many of our group had to park down the street.

After walking the 5km first leg from South Perth across the Causeway Bridge and along the riverside to Elizabeth Quay. Y Striders of course, headed straight to the ice cream shop at Elizabeth Quay and enjoyed the various flavours.

A few hardy souls walked the entire loop around the river, over the Narrows Bridge and back to the South Perth foreshore. However, most opted to return by the leisurely river crossing on the ferry and then completed the remaining 2km back to the picnic spot.

A delightful picnic was enjoyed by all against the backdrop of the Perth skyline. .

Thanks to Ann R for organising a very enjoyable evening.

  1. Even though we only attended the picnic tea, it was a delightful evening weather wise and being with the YStrider gang.
